Questions on risk and test results

Hi,
Approximately 3 months ago, latter part of May, I received unprotected oral sex, a night occurrence with a person of unknown sexual history, there was no kissing or basically skin to skin contact, she just preformed oral sex, no noticeable sores on the mouth, but tongue seemed to be white coated and with a red line down the middle.... as soon as I saw that the act was over, I showered....within 5 days I had a nasty looking pimple appear above my right knee towards the inside of the leg, I applied Neosporin and a Band-Aid and it was gone, but left a scar...Then middle of June I started getting a topically hot burning sensation on the head of my penis emanating throughout the scrotal area, visited my GP on June 25th, rx me antibiotics and an antifungal, burning sensation continued, with a red band of inflamed skin behind the head of my penis (circumcised, but on what I would guess is the foreskin) went back to the GP in July to have him look at a pimple in pubic region and my waist line...he was not concerned...burning sensation continues, only relief is at night when I'm asleep, went through the urgency to urinate, then approximately the 2nd week of August, I noticed a couple of under the skin appearing like ulcers, no scabbing or open sores and not painful to touch...testicles ached and just a general not feeling well period...the burning sensation has started to subside but has seemed to last for 2 to 2 1/2 months...August 25th, a couple of days shy of the exposure, I submitted to blood for lab work along with the GP physical examination...GP ordered the standard STD panel along with a CBC blood test....was called by the nurse and advised that everything was negative....
I have the test results for the HSV 1 and 2 with questions...below is how it appeared on the laboratory printout.
TEST                             RESULT                                   FLAG                               Reference

HSV 1 IGG                        <0.90                                        |                                       ()
HSV 2 IGG                        <0.90                                        |                                       ()

                                                                                      Value                                 Interpretation
                                                                                      ----------                              ------------------
                                                                                      1.10                                 Positive

This assay utilizes recombinant type-specific antigens to differentiate HSV 1 from HSV 2 infections. A positive result cannot distinguish between recent and past infection.  If recent HSV infection is suspected but the results are negative or equivocal, the assay should be repeated in 4-6 weeks.  The performance characteristics of the assay have not been established for pediatric populations, immunocompromised patients, neonatal screening...

My question:

1.  what are my results
2.  what is the purpose of testing again 4-6 weeks
3   the likelihood of testing positive
4   any other suggested test to verify my results
5  any suggestions as to what I should do next.

I apologize for the lengthy post, but any response would be greatly appreciated as to what someone else's opinion or guidance.

Scared, for sure....definitely do not want to expose another with something, if I can get a definitive answer or result.

IgG is a test for antibodies. Antigens are used to coat the test wells to attract the antibodies.

Hence you have had the right tests and these suggest conclusively you do not have genital herpes.

Thank u for your response....do you have an opinion about the test being an IGG type specific checking for antigens rather than antibodies, the test was a blood test and not a culture test...and taken at 3 months post exposure...which  I gather as a negative for HSV 1 and 2, testing negative on all other STDs...should I take a test for the antibodies?

Your symptoms do not suggest herpes. The knee is unrelated to genital herpes. You would have experienced herpes symptoms on your genitals within 2-10 days from infection.

Symptoms arising a few months after the oral sex are probably not related to that act at all.

Your test if 12 weeks after possible exposure confirm that you are negative for HSV.
