You are most welcome. I'm so glad things are going well with your doctor, too.
Terri
Saw my Dr. and he told me he was 99.9 percent positive it was not Herpes. He thinks its a bacterial infection or yeast infection that started in Florida. Probably started with a friction rub with all the humidity and heat the bacteria or yeast caught a good foothold. He couldn't do a swab test Terri due to no lesions. When I showed him what I thought was going to be a lesion that was coming on he laughed at me. Dont get my Dr. wrong it was a good friendship type of laugh not a insensitive non careing. He said I was scutinizing the imperfection of the erectiIe tissue under the skin being paranoid. I have been going to him for 16 years so I do consider him also a good friend. He still ran blood work and all came back negative. He wants to do more in 2.5 more months to be absolutely safe. He did give me an earful about safe sex though.
Thanks so much Terri for your unselfish help and to all the others that volunteer. I am reading as much as I can now on the subject so hopefully I can come back and help to,
No neither has been tested particularly for HSV. Been tested for all others before tho.
Thanks so much for your time and patience
New herpes could behave in that way, yes. Has your partner ever been tested for herpes? How about you?
Terri
But would the timeline be correct. Could it come and go then come back that fast. I thought i could get into the Dr today but not til monday morn. No pimples just a mild burning and irritation area. Bad friction?
Sometimes men who are not circumcized get fungal infections under the foreskin, I was wondering if that might be the case.

I think it is a good idea that you see your doctor tomorrow, but if these are resolving, a swab test will not give you the answers that you need. I would recommend that you and your partner get herpes antibody tests to see what might be going on here, herpes-wise. It could certainly be something as simple as a fungal infection - its very difficult to assess over the internet, but a clinician can give you a better idea. Are you circumcized or not?
