Possible anal hsv

I recently had my first sexual experience with a women (only oral contact) and the very next day I had burning sensation when urinating. I also had an itchy sensation around my scrotum and anus.

I went and got tested for stds (2 days after the incident) and only came back positive for hsv1. Ive had cold sores before and the doc did not feel that was the issue.

I took a whole bunch of meds anyways just in case (doc recommended) but still my symptoms persist. I feel that the itching around my anus and scrotum has gotten worse and I'm really starting to feel scared. Any ideas?

Possibly but my guess is just a mild irritation.

Doesn't sound hsv related. In fact i would bet the farm on that. You have hsv1 orally which means it would be very rare to get it genitaly as well. Your test was positive due to your oral infection. Hsv blood tests look for antibodies not the virus. This takes weeks if not months to develop.

Thank you for your response! So do you think it could be some kind of yeast infection?
