not sure

To make a long story short, i picked up a stripper, recieved unprotected oral sex for a couple minutes, condom protected vaginal sex. Its been 2 weeks now i have what appears to be 2 red spots on the shaft of my penis. Also looks really red and kinda itchy on my scrotum. (kinda like small cuts)  I am worried i have contracted herpes. any information would be greatly helpful   thank you

OK just one more quick question if i may, my symptoms are all gone, just wondering if it was herpes does it usually hurt? and go away so fast? i have an app with the doc next week. . and if it was a fungal infection would it clear on its own?  and from what i read unprotected oral sex is no risk for hiv. Its just kinda herpes im worried about a bit

if you get cold sores, then you know you have hsv1 orally.  no real risk of hsv1 from receiving oral sex then.

best to be seen to find out what is going on.

once in a blue moon i get cold sores on my lip. so i know i i have the virus. . I should maby get tested. I think from what i have been reading if you have type 1 orally you cannot get it below the belt? is this true? And sorry im not tryong to be a pain, From what i have read it is very painful. I do not have any pain. looks more like a rash. and now only one spot on the shaft or my penis. Once again i thank you for your reply, and your future reply.

protected sex doesn't protect 100% against herpes transmission unfortunately. same as you can also contract herpes from unprotected oral sex too.

at this point, be seen and get a proper exam.

have you ever been tested for herpes before?

I have had a fungal infection before and this  does seem kinda similar, I plan on seeing the dr soon but i am still wondering if this could be just a mild outbreak . .  if thats possible.? and upon researching im just getting alot of different answers on transmittion. Is it common to acquire this virus this way? i did not notice any outbreak . but i also didnt see in her mouth .  just kinda curious . .  thank you for your recent reply. and thanks in advance for a future reply.

odds are this isn't herpes going on. it really doesn't sound like it.

go and be seen and get this looked at so you can get a proper diagnosis.  most likely a fungal infection more than a std.
