Postive IgG Herpes & Negative IgM herpes? What does that mean?
Dear Doctor,
I had sex with unknown lady a little more than 1 month back. And condom broke while we were having sex.
And then while returning to country, I felt like a tingling and burning while urination adn a samll yellowish liquid coming out of my penis.
I did test for HIV, Clamydia, Gonoreah, Urine tests which all proved negative.
I had test for Herpes then I got these results : IgG = 2.83, IgM = 0.52.
I have no blisters, no cuttings, but i feel like there is a little pain in the testicules and i feel a burning sensation after i go to pee.
What I want to know is whether I have got infected with Herpes? Also I want to know the meaning of the results?
Is there any possible cure if I am Herpes contaminated? If not is it in the near future?
Also I wanted to know whether these tests are reliable or not? Or are there any other tests which I should do?

They said that it must be due to no proper sleeping posture or simply the pain is due to me stressing too much.
Even the heat i am feeling inside my stomach, they told me its due to me stressing about the problem.

Also i did a M.E.I.A test on automated AXSYM.
I still have pain in my neck.
And still ahve this warm feeling inside my chest and belly.
Is the test reliable enough?

the odds that you contracted hiv from this encounter are incredibly low.

There are other things thats happening to me and I thought you might help me deal and understand.
Recently I had some flue-like symptoms.
I went to my doctor who perscribed me Claradol 500 and Aerius tablets.
I also told him I was continuing to get some clear fluid ( little ) discharge from my penis and burning sensation after urination.
He gave me injection of Rosephin 500.
Its been 2 days now and there is still clear discharge from my penis. And I am also having the burning sensation after pee.
Now my low abs are burning a lot.
I am taking A LOT of water as the doctor told me and going to pee regularly.
I am very confused and worried. Is this a sign of HIV?
I often feel a sense of burning on my face and lips and nose. It is the beginning of winter here in my country and feels at times a little chilled.
Now furthermore, I notice some very tiny red dots inside my penis head. ( when i open the lips ).
I am still having loose stools( been 2 weeks ). My penis feels warm as my lower abs too. And I feel uncomfortable with my penis and testicules.

you don't sound like herpes is the cause of your symptoms. follow up with your provider for your pain and dizziness.

My neck and trapez is still paining a lot. And I still feel a little bit dizzy.
Maybe I should wait for some time and see whether the symptoms do appear. Then I can do the test for true diagnosis.
Can it be possible that the results they gave me are not correct?

sounds like you picked up something that is making you sick though the antibiotics you had might be behind the loose stools.
like I said, doesn't sound like herpes going on. follow up on your continued symptoms with your provider.

you probably had a non-type specific test done then.
at this point you need to call your provider monday and make an appointment to be seen again. get examined again and some testing done again to try to figure out what is causing your symptoms. they do not sound like herpes.

Is this test really identifying whether I have Herpes or not?
Another thing I wanted to clear out. Is ther any thing that could prove the test to be false?

No cure for viruses/herpes that I know of.
what HSV was the test result for? 1 or 2 or both?
Grace knows how to interpret these tests, but generally the IgM are worthless and your igg would put you as a low negative and could mean you were exposed a month ago, or ten years ago.
I have not heard of yellow discharge as a symptom of herpes, you may want to go back for further testing.
