I have had these same results. My boyfriend does NOT have HSV1 however I do. How is it possible that he has not gotten this from me in the 2 years we have been dating but I got HSV2 from him? HE tested postive to HSV2 with a score of 3.92 is there room for the tests to be incorrect?
Also how long does it take to show in the blood that we have HSV2?
One more thing if you contract the virus do you get an outbreak right away?

No it doesn't show how long you've had it. there aren't any tests to show how long you've had it either.
