Postive Test results

I recently found out that I have HSV2 and been reading online that if you blood test results fall between 1.1 and 3.5 you need to be retested due to false positives . Mine came back at 3.09 I have never had a breakout or any issues in my boxer area. Is this true? Do I need to be retested ?

How long ago was your last possible exposure? Less than 3 months?  Have you ever had cold sores on your lips?

You are at the high-end of the false positive range, so re-testing is a must.
