do i have herpes or vaginal thursh ?
Hi I'm 19 I'm in college to be a dermatologist... During Christmas break I went home.. I was sleeping in my mothers room. When I woke up the next day and had two cut on my vagina above the lips ... At first it was white two circles with a little cut inside.. it look like teeth marks.. At frist I didn't know what it was.. I went to the doctor and found out that I had Bv and. Yeast infection I've been battling it for 3 months and I can final say It's gone. Before I had the cut I was scratching a lot due to my yeast infection. I've been to the doctors often the check up on my vagina.. since the the cut has become pick with a couple of cuts.. I have a bleeding disorder and when I get cuts they don't heal properly at all. I haven't had sex since October and I plan to not have sex for a while. My mother has herpes 1 and so I and my older sister as well. I had boyfriend and I gave him . and gave him oral sex once I did know I had herpes at that time.. ever since I found out I've became sort of germ- a phobic. But always the doctors that look at it don't really know what it is they know about herpes 1 . One doctor said that its kind of a oil gland on my vagina It's was dry and it won't ever heal thats why idk bout that.. I got check today and the doctor didnt say anything really I showed it to her . I thought it would of healed up cause
Yeast infection but when I took medication for that it never went away . Idk if yeast infection and vaginal thrush can be treated with the same medicine since it is a yeast infection. The cut does not hurt me at all its not painful like it was before and it doesn't hurt when I pee either never did.. if it is herpes shouldn't have been gone by now it has been three months..I put a& d on it and I notice the cut looks better when I do that.. It's really dry and white around and pink.. and the cuts don't heal... With my herpes 1 I don't have symptoms or outbreaks at all.. do I kno my immune system is strong.. my mother breaks out like all the time.. and my sister too. I just want to know what is this and is it serious. Me any my boyfriend since broke up .. I know that you cam spread the herpes virus even if you don't have symptoms at all and I try to be extra careful at all times.

vaginal thrush is a yeast infection.
this doesn't sound at all like genital herpes. also herpes would not linger for 3 months like this.
at this point a biopsy of the area would probably be most helpful if your providers are stumped.
you don't need to be a germaphobe about your oral herpes either!! You aren't a walking biohazard!!

so i just went to the doctors yester and im getting tested for almost everything. I dont have my test results back yet it might take some time. i was just wonder cause my vaginal curts are still there she took some blood and she also to a swab of the area to see if is herepes. I hope it comes back negative. I was also wondering if it was someting else like msra or anything would it come up on the test as to what it is. Even though she is looking for genital herpes.. im just wondering
Ok go I got the test bck do I'm negative for genital herpes.. but I can't help but think that maybe its genital warts or something.. I already had my shots for that when I was like 12 but I kno its only protects you from 90 of the strands that cause HPV.. idk I'm going to the doctors tomorrow should I get a biopsy like you said and get blood work done.. o went to the doctor before and I tried to get a pap smear and they told me I was to younge to get one I was upset ..I also got test for almost every except hpv and they all came back negative.
the gardasil vaccine shot series protects against 4 of the 30+ types of hpv that commonly infect the genital area ( gotta learn you right if you want to grow up to be a doctor! ).
the new guidelines advise against pap testing depending on your age and your number of partners. really no reason for a pap test at this point. are you still having symptoms genitally at all?

I went to my doctor and she Said that it was a,pimple that probably burst.. so she gave me bacterial cream and it healed up really quickly the cuts are gone ..but I will like to ask another question..... I've went to the doctors likes 8 Times already and they all said the same thing.... I have two white dots below the clit on each side of the libia out side..its between both the clit and the liba.. and when I take hot showers they go down .. it doesn't hurt or anything..but all the doctors live seen said its probably a cloged pore or its irritated ...The little hairs could be irritated... And hot water does work.. I think it could be a type of bacterial infection ...and the hot water is not. working to drain it out.. its been going in for like 2 - 3 months ... It goes and come all the Time... That's kinda of why I think I could have genital warts.... What do you think?
