Raised Bump on Penis shaft, pain while urinating

Hello.  Have a raised bump on my shaft and the elevation is slightly red/white looking.  Before this bump appeared, I started feeling pain while urinating.  Now, there is a little sticky resolution that stays at the top of my penis and still is uncomfortable to urinate.  The pain while urinating has been around for almost a week now while the raised bump appeared a couple days ago.

This all happened after I received oral sex from a sex worker that lasted about 30minutes.  Im assuming she sees a lot of people on the daily so Im concerned that this could be some sort of herpes onset symptoms?  Could this be the case and could this be both HSV-1 and/or HSV-2?  Is it possible to post a picture on here?

I don't have insurance so your assistance with advice would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you!

My results came back positive for chlamydia.  Started treatment 3days ago already and symptoms are still there.  And so is the bump.  Any idea if the bump is caused from my diagnosis?  Again, my exposure was unprotected oral only.  Isnt that still rare to get from oral?  And how long does it usually take for symptoms to subside from your experience(s)?

I'm really glad you got tested.

A bump on your shaft is unlikely to be from chlamydia. The other symptoms you mentioned absolutely could be.

It can take the full 7 days for symptoms to clear.

We used to think that chlamydia from oral was rare. We have better testing now, and are seeing it more. It's still not "common", and it's still not as common as gonorrhea from oral, but it's being found more frequently.

Are you on doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 7 days?
Yes.  Plus they gave me an injection as well, not sure what that was called.

My next fear is herpes but right now, its not following the steps of what herpes sounds n looks like via online.  You think i should still get this tested?
The shot was probably to treat gonorrhea, in case you have that, too.

It doesn't sound like herpes. Has a doctor seen it? I wouldn't worry about herpes, but it might not hurt to get it looked at since it's concerning you.
My symptoms havent subsided, kind of getting worse.  Im having frequent pain in the bladder area, always wanting to pee but nothing really coming out, weak stream and film still producing at the penis opening.

I finished the course of antibiotics but it hasnt relieved me of this issue.  Does this still sound like chlamydia or something else happening?  Waiting for an appt w an urologist but its not until later cause every doctor is booked out weeks.  Getting nervous and anxious, pls help.  Anything i can do in the meantime??
Weak stream and urgency sounds like prostatitis, but it could also be a UTI. How old are you?

A primary can diagnose prostatitis. At least start there.

You have been asking about different genital symptoms for years now.

Have you ever seen a urologist about the burning you get while urinating?

Have you ever taken a herpes blood test? You should find out if you already have it, and then you can move on from that.

From receiving oral sex, you can only get genital hsv1. I don't know if you already have it genitally, but you can go to an STD clinic and get it cultured. Many clinics are low cost or free.

You can go to stdcheck.com or letsgetchecked.com and get the blood test. Look for specials and google for coupon codes.

They also offer other STD tests. From receiving oral, you can get gonorrhea and chlamydia if it wasn't protected, and they offer those, too.

How is your water intake? Caffeine and alcohol? Limit caffeine and alcohol and increase water. See if that helps.

The last time you posted, I asked if you had been referred to a urologist. I still think that's a good idea. Call your health dept and ask what services they offer for uninsured people. Many have free or low cost clinics.
