How long does it take to receive results from STD tests? I had a swab test taken 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard and I also took a blood test for Herpes on Friday and today is Monday and I haven't heard. How long is the typical wait?
depends on the lab for the blood test. If it was labcorp or quest typically its done within 3 days but it can take longer. The swab should have been done in a week. Call your provider to find out the status.
