So first, some questions - when was your last possible exposure? What made you test? Do you have symptoms? What kind of risks have you had - oral sex, vaginal sex, anal sex? Protected or unprotected?
The IgM is a terrible test. It's very unreliable for herpes. It works great for other infections, but for herpes, it just doesn't. It is wrong at least as often as it is right. Ignore the results. I know that's not easy, but act like you didn't even have it done. All experts in the field have known this for easily 10 years.
The IgG test is negative, but how accurate it is depends on how long after your exposure you tested.
I don’t have any symptoms I just did random check up after the physical contact the result came like this so I’m but confused about the result whether I’m infected or not ! Kindly suggest me
Okay, it can take up to 12 weeks to show positive on the IgG, but if you don't have symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it.
There are false positives on the hsv2 IgG test, so if you don't get symptoms, I don't see any reason to continue to test. You could get a false positive and it is very hard to unravel that.
If you get symptoms, get the sores cultured and typed within 48 hours of them appearing. That's the best way to test for herpes.
