Shedding pain?

I have herpes2. I have it for over 1 yr. I have no visable outbreak signs but a shooting pain in shaft where a previous outbreak was and my foot hurts. My typical symptom with a outbreak. It's been like this for a week. Question is when I'm shedding and have no visable outbreak am I shedding currently? Does shedding have the same symptoms just without the visable sores?

You should wash your hands after urninating anyway..If a person has hsv2 and its an established infection, meaning you have antibodies now, the risk of passing it to another body part is close to zero if possible at all. Most that contract it in 2 different areas contracted it at the same time.

Its spread by direct genital to genital skin contact.

But I read if u touch a sore u can transmit it to other body parts, objects or people even after 1st outbreak. What if I'm camping have a outbreak have to pee touch my shaft and have no way to use soap and water or hand sanitizer to clean hands with.?

There are not doctors here only in the paid forum. Hsv2 is spread by direct skin contact not by touching.

Not likely related to herpes. Herpes outbreaks prefer the path of least resisitance and will most always break out in the same spot, give or take an inch, and your foot is not one of them with you. The foot is part of the boxer short ganglion, so it would be possible to have a outbreak there but not common at all esp if your already having them in the genital area.

Should not last more than a few days before a sore appears. Are you wondering why your foot hurts?

Hi, Often there are no symptoms when shedding and thats why its passed to others without knowing/ All we really know is the hsv2 genital sheds about 15% of the time.
