Shingles Shot influence Herpes IGG blood test?

Can a Shingles Shot influence the outcome of a Herpes IGG test? I had a shot about a month ago.

I just got my results back and shows  valve 1.2 - can this be a false positive?
HSV-2 came back .2 - is negative

No, a shingles shot will not influence it, but that could easily be a false positive.

I see your closed thread post. Some people don't get outbreaks right away, and may not know they have it for a long time. Hence, they have antibodies first.

Is this all because you have a partner with ghsv1?

Even if you don't have hsv1, the chance that you'd get it from them is virtually zero in the absence of them having symptoms. I'm not sure what the fuss is about. Undoubtedly, you've been exposed in the past and just didn't know it.
