Cut on finger

I have a outbreak on my penis and have a cut on my finger from a knife. I have no choice but to directly touch my outbreak with my finger with the cut directly on the outbreak to pee. An I going to get herpes in my finger now? I'm currently camping so I don't have soap or water to clean I have nothing I'm freaking out!!! Please tell me facts!

I can say that contracting whitlow is rare and most is from hsv1 from the dental profession. Since your antibody level may not be strong yet, i would say to be careful touching the hsv2 genital sore with a cut on your finger.

YOur blood test numbers would indicate the lengh of time. Numbers over 5 and up indicate an older infection with sufficient antibodies to help prevent conversion.

Hi, if youve had herpes for a while then you would not pass the same type to another area.
