The only way to know is just retesting again.....
You're wrong.
While it's possible to have seroconverted in 6-7 weeks, it's not likely. And it's almost impossible to get an antibody count that high. More likely it would've been in the low 2's at most.
And how was it "confirmed" that another woman gave it to him? The person you had sex with for so long may not have contracted it. If not he's lucky. That happens. Or maybe he wasn't getting HSV tests as part of his work up OR perhaps he didn't test long enough after exposure to you to have a positive test.

Is white discharge without itchiness a symptom?
To clarify he got it from means he got it from his current girlfriend sorry left out a word, she even confessed to him she had it after she gave it to him and when we split he went straight from me to her
The person right before him got tested, whom I had sex with multiple times unprotected for a period of a year and half and he is negative . My ex husband and I have been apart for 4 years and it is confirmed he got it from her within the first year they had sex and he had an outbreak I've gotten tested many times in the last 4 years and have been clean until I had sex with him ONCE so I'm 100% sure that he gave it to me. Without a doubt.
I think the other thing to note is that you most probably have had this for a long time. There is the possibility that you were the source for your husband during the marriage.

But it's not the end of the world. Nobody wants genital herpes, but most infected people live normal lives, including romance, love, and rewarding sex. Go to some reliable, objective websites to learn more about herpes. It's not as big a deal as you seem to fear. Some good sites are CDC (www.cdc.gov/std), the American Sexual Health Association (www.ashasexualhealth.org), and the Westover Heights Clinic of Portland, OR (www. westoverheights.com).
