Stabbing pain inguinal lymph node

Hello dr's. Thank you for all your help and all you do. Also thank you for responding in advance. I posted this to the wrong form prior so I an reporting this in here. Sorry about the confusion on my part.

So a month ago I had unprotected oral sex with a sex worker, and protected vaginal sex. A week later I noticed a discharge from my penis. So went to the doctor and he tested me for gonorrhea and climidia . Both where negative however I got prescribed doxycycline. It helped and now the discharge is gone.

only two days left of taking the antibiotic, I have felt a burning around my testicles near my thighs. So I thought maybe because I been taking hot showers twice a day it may be dry. But today and yesterday I have been having stabbing pain in my inguinal lymph node. On my right side but later on to my left side. Very sharp and stabbing pain. I got an appointment on Friday. The only thing I see where I have the burning is one small pimple, but the other side nothing but burns on both . So I am worried I have an std. I'm still taking my antibiotics, 2 pills left. But I am so scared I don't know what to do. What is likely hood of hsv2, or HIV. Or could it be anything curable.

While I sit at work the pain is very sharp and stabbing in my inguinal lymph nodes. The never hurt at the same time but they do both hurt separately .

1. What should I get tested for?
2. If hsv, or hiv how long do I wait to test.
3. Can I ask my doctor for anxiety medicine because I have trouble sleeping from the stress.
4. What other STD's or other conditions can it be
5. Can the antibiotics have anything to do with the pain.
6. It's been about a month and 4 days since exposure to soon for other test?

Thank you all for your help, I am so grateful for the help

Hi, first of all receiving oral sex is somewhat low risk activity and the giver would be more at risk for contacting things like gono in the throat. If she did not give you a deep throat oral, you would not be exposed to throat stds as would be in the back of her throat in the mucus membrane area.
The more common infections from oral would be simple UTI,s as bacteria common in the mouth are not common in the penis.

Protected vaginal would be a risk for herpes and syphilis but if she did not have any vaginal sores at the time the risk of contracting these from a one time affair would be close to zero risk..

1. Gono, chlamydia, herpes and syphilis.
2. Not risk for hiv. Test for herpes at 3 months post exposure but 8 weeks would be a good indicator.
3. yes
4. really nothing to be overly concerned about.
5.no
6. 5 days for gono and such. 6 weeks for syphilis and 3 months for herpes. but as mentioned really low risk activity.

Thank you, for your responce. But she did give me deep throat. What about the burning on both sides of thighs and inguinal pain? And the one pimple and the redness in the burning area? Anything to be alarmed about? I never had pain in my inguinal lymph nodes before. Sorry I am just really clueless about all this.

Nodes can inflame with any infection even the common cold. The pimple would not be a symptom of a newly acquired infection as first time outbreaks would be at the point of contact like your pubic mound area not your thighs.
I think in part your anxiety is got you overly concerned. Really low risk activity.
