follow up with urine testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea a week post encounter just to err on the side of caution since you have a regular partner. Otherwise no painful and obvious genital rashes in the next week, take a deep breath and move forward :)
Thanks. The sad part is I have been for years. I strayed last week. It's been the worst week of my life needless to say.
That is why I am concerned about this single incident so much.
if you aren't in a long term monogamous relationship, not a bad idea to get tested yearly to know your status :)
I believe I was tested several years ago and was negative, but it has been a very long time.
sounds like you caught one of the many upper respiratory viruses that are common this time of year. no reason to think you contracted genital herpes from what you've described.
have you ever been tested for herpes to know your status?
it's always best to give and receive protected oral sex. It saves you from worrying and protects you from std's.
