Herpes scare

I had a BJ unprotected after massage in the first week of May. After a week there was a pimple on the penis head. Shown to a dermatologist who said it is Genital herpes. He did not do any tests. After 11 weeks got my blood test done. The HSV 2 IGG is 0.04 and IGM is 0.09. HSV1 IGG is 0.15 and IGM is 0.2. All values less than 0.9 which is negative. The doctor still insists that I had genital herpes as there is some positive value. Am confused as I can make out the report is negative. If not herpes what could it be.

Thank you. Now it's too late to test that. I really wonder what it was

Clearly your Dr has no clue about hsv or the testing involved. All tests have a value. Your tests were negative. What he should have done was a culture of the "pimple" or lesions.
He also gave you igm tests which are useless so judging by the obvious lack of knowledge on the subject and testing I wouldn't put much faith in the visual diagnosis. I would repeat the test in another month and when that comes back negative (which it will) then put this all behind you.

Is the negative test conclusive that it is not Herpes?
