I wonder if this is herpes or not?

Recently my glands/lymph nodes in my pubic area have been feeling very swollen and tender, I wouldn't say they hurt...just sort of uncomfortable. I didn't feel any stinging or pain and didn't even bother to look for bumps as I figured I would have felt something. After a few days I decided to look, and I saw red spots...i took a picture but the flash made it look way worse than it really was. They weren't technically bumps, just red spots. The skin in this area has been feeling tingly/stinging and that burning skin sensation, also the skin there can be called "chicken skin". Anyways, about 2 days later everything was fine and my glands/lymph node symptoms went away...does this sound like genital herpes? or just a heat rash? I'm worried that the symptoms only looked mild because I waited so long to look for bumps and they already had time to heal somewhat.

Really at this point there isn't much we can tell you. the complexity of your medical issues makes it hard for us to help.  Get checked then come back is the best we can offer.

But would those things make me more likely to catch hsv1 genitally and make the antibodies not develop bc of these medical problems, whether the anitbodies were from hsv2 or hsv1?

you need to go and be seen monday.  you have complex medical problems making this hard for an online forum to help you with without a diagnosis. go , get checked out and then stop back and let us know how things went :)

I know I have hsv1, from coldsores and what not, and I know I build good immunity from getting hsv1 genitally...if I get the igg test done at 3 months and it's positive for hsv1 and negative for hsv2, is it safe to say it wasn't herpes? I am worried bc I have a horrible skin rash, a pretty bad parasitic infection and a stool/bowel/stomach/intestine problem that I have yet to figure out...I am seeing a GI doctor soon. I also have used 2 Immunosuppressant creams for the skin rash, which I accidently got some of into my mouth. I used these about a month or two b4 my last encounter. I am worried that all of these factors have/will lower my immune system where if it is hsv2, my body won't be able to make sufficient antibodies for the test to detect, so it will come back negative when it really is positive.

This could have been anything.  The best thing for you to do is go be seen when you have symptoms within 48hrs of them showing up for a lesion culture.

If your last sexual encounter was 3 months ago you can be accurately tested now using a HSV IGG Type specific blood test.
