HSV2 Exposure - January 1 & 20th 2017
First potential outbreak = About January 20th Two itchy small red sores, seemed to have a solid white core
Symptoms - Sores scabbed over after about 2 to 3 weeks one with a scar - I picked at it.
Symptoms - Seems like I have always had at least 1 small sore ever since. All in groin area.
- April 2017 - Possibly primary outbreak with about 10 to 15 sores. Itchy, mostly had a solid white core, a couple with what appeared to look like a spider bite. With small whitehead, aka a very tiny amount of white pus and always followed by a little blood.
- Went to doctor he said he does not look like herpes, but said he has been wrong in the past. Took a swab of the sores and came back negative. Symptoms healed over time, but I seem to always have 1 or 2 sores present now, generally healing and scabbing over. The heal time seems a little quicker, then again I don;t pick at them anymore to see if it is solid white core, comparable to a blackhead/ almost wart like but definitely not a wart. Occasionally seem pus filled.
June 7, 2017 - Went and got blood drawn for every std I could. Everything came back negative, but I have random itchiness down there and usually one or two sores - this is all after 5 acts of sex with the same person. One was unprotected sex, one was latex condom, the rest were her lambskin condoms which I found out offer no protection. This woman claims she has had it for 20+ years and has never infected anyone. First time we ****** found out she was hiding she had a cold. Aka her immune symptom was down, prime time for shedding.
I guess my question is how is possible that I have recurring symptoms that replicate a herpes infection with negative blood test at 21 weeks post exposure ????
The weird part is that I had a cold sore in the inside of my mouth show up the day after I got my test as well as one that was in the middle of my lower lip. Too me that says it is obvious I have infection going on, but yet all tests igg, 2 different swabs have been negative.
I have read that after 3 months it is 90% accurate versus I have read they did studies where the igg picked up 97 out of 100 positives indicating a 97% accuracy rating. i dont have the source on hand.
Why am I still having symptoms if I supposedly have no infection ? I have been extremely paranoid, anxious, and was depressed up until I got my results back. Can these factors cause symptoms ?
I am so confused
