Please help!!!

Almost 2 weeks ago, I had shaved with a razor that was dull, rusted, and was kept by black mold.

Right after I shaved, I grew sores from my vagina to my anus that were very painful, and I had a burning sensation when I peed.

A week after I used the razor, I went to the e.r to see if I had caught an infection or something. The doctor heard my story, did an swab culture (the swab barely even touched me), and said that it looks like a staph infection. He gave me a prescription for sulfameth 800 and sent me home. after I started taking the medication the sores have are almost completely fine and it doesn't burn to pee.

Over the weekend, the doctor calls and says I have herpes. Please help I'm very scared and confused.

If the swab test cake back positive then you have hsv. The swab tests are very accurate when positive. Did they type test it so you know if it's hsv1 or hsv2?
