I'm currently taking 500mg of Valacyclovir (Valtrex) i feel an out break coming on, to avoid an outbreak will it be ok to take 1000mg instead of 500mg?
yes you can up it to 500mg 2x/day for 3 days when it feels like you might be getting a recurrence.
