Lost without answer!! So Afraid!

Hi,
Im little scared, last saturday after i had relations with my partner, i felt like burning like a cut burn on the side..
When i was taking a bath i saw a couple of bumps like ulcers on the side of the penis..
I got scared and ran and got an advice of a doctor, he told me to got the lab and test for Herpes, as he thought it might be..
Why, because about 5 years ago, i had something similar on the penis and he was the one that saw me that time.. So he thought it could be an outbreak!

Well that time about 5 years ago, i was checked and everything was negative..

Last year i tested and was negative also..

So, tuesday i got tested for herpes, and syphillis and HIV, and there were all negative..

IM VERY VERY Scared, why this??

The doctor told me that they were similar to herpes but the symptoms were not similar..
I did not did culture to the ulcer, because they had scab and the doctor told me that it has to be wet to grab that and cutlture test..

He told me that i could have some kind of skin condition, before test he gave me famvir for herpes.. now i hae to finish famvir and he told me to continue the neosporin on the ulcers..

But they are round and in the middle they have the scab, like an ulcer i have 5 of them

I thought this was an outbreak, but blood test keeps telling negative..

.30 hsv1 and .29hsv2

is this a STD??

what can this be?? im so afraid i have done this testing and i havent told my partner because im afraid how is she going to react..

PLEASE DOCTOR NEED ADVICE!! They dont hurt and they look like they are healing but, what could this be???

I wish you had had the sores swab tested, even if they had a crust or scab.  PCR testing can often recover virus from a scabbed lesion.  I wish I could tell you I"m not worried about herpes in your case, but your symptoms do sound concerning.  Not too many things come in groups of 5 and make a scab on the shaft of the penis.

If you do have herpes genitally, it is probably HSV 1.  Here are the reasons:  you have outbreaks very infrequently (which is not usually true for HSV 2), and the antibody test that you had done is not as sensitive for HSV 1 as it is for HSV 2.  You might consider getting a western blot for HSV from UW as it is more sensitive than the ELISA for HSV 1, though neither is perfect for HSV 1.

It will be hard to nail this down because if you do have HSV 1 genitally, it will recur so infrequently that you may not have an opportunity to swab test these again for many years.
