Unsure how to read my results

The first test I did was the IGM test and it came back positive so I wanted to see if I had type 1 or 2 so I did took the IGG test that would tell me what type I had well my results are a bit confusing. If someone could look over there and give me some help that would be great!

HSV I/II IgG Rflx I-II Type Sp
SV I/II IgG - 10.4

HSV 1 and 2-Specific Ab, IgG

HSV 1 IgG, Type Spec <.91
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec <.91

Any ideas?

Thanks so much

no problem and no the strep throat wouldnt throw it off ur body makes antibodies for multiple things everyday because your always exposed to germs but yeah after eight weeks ur fine even though they'll say wait 4 month but i went to a specialist and i think he knows whats up and he said more than likely six weeks is enough but eight weeks more than enough. also terri warren who is a pro on this forum also said eight weeks is good. she wrote the herpe handbook so im sure she knows whaTS GOIN ON AS WELL. good luck to you.

I cant believe no one else has had a test result like this from labcorp..? I have searched all over this forum and cant find the answer. If someone could take the time and just give me some info to either put my mind at rest or let me know I should be taking a retest at some point.

any ideas if I should retest? Again I don't understand how the combined could be 10.4 but I get a negative on both type 1 and 2...? Could someone explain that?

well either 8 weeks or over 4 months. I haven't had any symptoms but when I did get the test done I had a cold or maybe even strep throat so I'm not sure if that could throw it off?

From what I can tell, the last part of information you wrote down says that your negative for both.
How long has it been from the time you have been exposed to the time you have been tested?

For what I understand the first test is a combined test... if that comes back positive that do a type specific test. So my results is showing that I am negative for both?
