I had protected sex with a girl i didn't know well. 13 days later at night i had an itch on my penis. I scratched it quite heavily. The next day i woke up and noticed that i had redish skin and broken skin in the area. Quite concerned i went to a gum clinic who didn't think it was anything. They gave me some anti fungal cream to put on it. that night before i went to bed i applied the cream. The next day i woke up and the skin was chafed and and it looked like the skin was more raw and open. It was quite sensitive at this stage and burning. I went back to another gum clinic who did a swab of the area. i went home and washed the area the next day it started to heal over and by the fifth day it was completely gone with just a patch of white skin... I have to wait for 3 weeks for the results and i'm very concerned and anxious. There was never any blisters and i'm wondering if this sounds like herpes?
you did the best thing you could do - you went to be seen and get proper exams and testing done. I know it's hard to wait for results but it's the best you can do at this point.
