Vaginal discharge in relation to herpes?

Hi! So about three months ago I might have been exposed to hsv2. The man I had the encounter with said that he contracted hsv2 two weeks after me from a girl he had sex with after me. (as you're reading this I know it may seem like more of a mental health problem but bare with me) He had sex with one other girl before me and they were together for 4 years. Her herpes blood test came out negative. I haven't had any symptoms orally or genitally, because both happened that night, unprotected both. 3 months have now passed. Closer to the time I thought I might have contracted it, I went and got an std test done, but of course they couldn't do herpes because there was no active sore. This was probably a month to a month and a half ago and when I went there the lady said that I probably would have had symptoms be now and since I'm not then I'm clear. BUT then she gave me the card to a local lab testing facility (all of this probably could have been done for right there but nope). Any way she told me to waiting 3 months past exposure so I did. I went into the lab last monday and did the blood test and the next day I got my results and they were negative hsv1 and equivocal hsv2. The test was herpes select so the range was 1.1 positive. My result was 1.02. After three months wouldn't I have a positive test if it was going to be? So in short I freaked out, had no clue what equivocal meant and the guy told me it could be early infect, never told me it could be a mess up in the lab because that is common in herpes select tests... anyway I have again picked up the searching my body for signs and symptoms as I wait the next 6 weeks to go get another test done to confirm positive or negative. I still have not had any symptoms BUT this morning I woke up and my panties felt wet. I went to the bathroom and swiped my finger over my entrance and I had watery, milky white discharge coming from my vagina. My undies are no longer wet but the discharge left some crusties. Not too many and its barely there and the only reason I could tell they are there is because I'm wearing black underwear and there's whitish maybe yellowish crusties in there, again not alot, I can't even tell the color. I don't have any burning or itching, no lesions. Just the lots of watery milky white discharge. I don't feel sick or tired, nothing else that I have read and they associate with a herpes outbreak. But I also couldn't find a ton on vaginal discharge from herpes so, if you guys have had experience with this or know better than I do, could you please help? It would be much appreciated. Also could you weigh in on the equivocal results? Also concerned with that but didn't want to make a whole new post. Thanks!

Equivocal is not positive. Nothing you describe sounds like hsv at all. Retest again in a few weeks. Igg tests only.

There are no Dr's here. I just know a lot about the virus. I had a scare and dedicated hundreds of hours researching, reading the studies and corresponding with experts and labs.
