Continued anxiety or HSV-2

This is my third post in the past couple of months. After an encounter outside my marriage, i felt tingling, burning, minor pain on and around my penis a few days after with a small round red spot.  When to the STD clinic 3 times, tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and came negative.  The professionals have told me that it wasn't genital herpes.  Some days are good and some days are bad as i continue to get scares with tingling and burning sensations.  Is it possible to not have HSV2 lesions for several weeks and lesions show up later on? How can i eliminate the anxiety symptoms if it's only that?

Hi tingling in the world of herpes is a sensation for those who have had it for quite some time not a recent infection and can be uses as a tool that an outbreak is on its way which would consist of very painful blisters. so you can rule out hsv2 for a reason for you tingling. the burning could be from constant checking the area looking for things.
