Hi in have called a few doctors and labs to get the western blot test but I gave them the number for western blot that u gave me grace and the lab said they dont have that number and then I asked if they send it to Seattle and they said they send it to Virginia I'm in phx and I'm having a hard time to find how to get the western blot test and I really want to to get it since I have low positive wich by the way my first one was 1.34igg second was 1.24 and. Third 1.46 but my hsv 1 was 4.56 could I have tested positive on hsv2 cuz of my high hsv 1? Also I know this might sound a little dumb but the only time i was worry was when I went to dentist for deep cleaning and I got blisters on my gums a few days later after deep cleaning and I got my deep cleaning july 22 and got STD test done end of October doctor days it's impossible to get hsv like that but idk what to think its the only time I got so worry idk why my month reacted like that after the deep cleaning idk if that's normal it was my first deep cleaning in years but I asked other ppl and I asked other dentist and they said no one has experience that

not many places offer the biokit. if you get an unclear result on it, you still have to get the WB so you might as well get the WB.

Try calling the U of washington monday to see if they can call your local quest lab to sort this out for you. they are often very helpful with getting folks the right testing. The U of washington is the ONLY lab in the US that does the herpes WB. The quest person you spoke to locally is misinformed :(

You need to call biokit and they can give you the nearest provider close to you.
