not sure if i have herpes or balanitis

for a few years now i have had small lesions apear under my foreskin...they are never painfull and heal in a few days...sometimes it itches sometimes it doesnt...every time i have had this i go to the doctor and they tell me it is a balinitis infection and they give me cream to put on it and it goes away. I am just worried because the past 3 months i have had 3 "outbreacks" like this.  is it possible this is herpes and my doctor is just misdiagnosing it?...I am a hypochondriac about theese things...the lesions are extremely small and they are never painfull even if i rub them.  I have had sex with a condom when i have them and again no pain...what is this?

If your Dr is a dermatologist or educated on STD's, he will not misdiagnose it. Next time you get a lesion go to a Dermatologist or STD Clinic and they will say yes or no in the matter of a second if it is indeed herpes.
