Worried about symptoms
About a week ago I had unprotected sex with a girl I didn't know. She claims to be clean and claims to have been tested. The 2nd day after sex I woke up with a sore throat and swollen tonsils. Later on that day I got the chills, and even later a fever to go with it. The next day both the fever and chills were gone. However, the lymph nodes in my neck became very swollen and have been since. Along with the sore throat. Lately, about 5 days after sex, the tip of penis has had some "burning" sensations. No trouble or burning while peeing, and no sores are present. Just wondering if this really seems like herpes, or possibly something else?

What do you mean by proper exam? Also, I have two spots very close together that seem like ingrown hairs. They aren't painful and one showed up about a day before the other. Is that consistent at all with herpes? They are located at the beginning of the pubic region, near the belt line.

you need to go and be seen and get a proper exam done. odds are this isn't std related at all.
