Igm.92

I have a test result igm of .92 and igg of .05. About two to three weeks after sexual contact with someone. Sometime around mid December. New Year's Eve noticed bumps and went to dr on the fourth. Dr said it didn't look like it and I asked to test. Going to retest in three more weeks.
I guess my question is how common is the igm a little high and be a false positive?

I have another test at six to seven weeks. Pretty nervous about it. Married twenty years. Told her I wanted a divorce then had sex with someone and now I'm concerned. Hopefully it's ok but.....
The bumps are still here since the 31 of December. No real change. Maybe that a good sign.

Is this a test for HSV2? The IgM result is not much to be concerned about.

You were very probably negative before the encounter and even at this early stage that remains the case. The timing of the bumps is out for a primary outbreak and you don't suggest any other symptoms.

Have a final test at 12-16 weeks for a conclusive result from the IgG testing.
