Yes you could already have had it but again testing would confirm.
once again thank you for your advice. so what youre saying is I couldve already had it and not known. I hadnt had symptoms before this. im feeling under the weather again today and still have a few tiny red blister type things on my leg. its been two and half weeks since I had sex with that person. im really dont know what to do I feel so embaressed to talk to anyone about it.
When a person contract hsv, the virus is rubbed into the skins surface nerve, there is muliplies then travel down the nerve to the base of the spine where is resides. During a breakout, the virus travels up one of the many nerves in the sacurm ganglion which is the entire nerve pathways below your waist and can travel up any of the nerves. This choice of which nerve is with recurrent outbreaks as the primary sore would be at the spot of contact.
firstly thank you for your advice. some off the blistery things have healed but I keep finding more. the blistery things arent just on the outside theyre also on th top of my legs. and what do you mean by ganglion location.
Hi from what you describe its not a typical first time outbreak as would be more in the genital area where contact would have been made. What you describing is a recurrent outbreak due to the ganglion location meaning you have already out an outbreak there before.
Also after 2 weeks herpes sores would be well into scabing over an healing. So this really doesnot appear herpes related.
Also if she did not have any obvious genital sore present at the time and using a condom your risk would be close to zero for contracting it.
