a small lump on vulva

6 years ago i went to see a doctor after i discoverd a small lump on my vulva area,he gave me zovirax and told me it was an herpes simplex. after that i still getting the same lump in the same area only that its gettin bigger every year,being this year the biggest ,nd i only get it during spring and summer time never during the winter. what could it be?

just a visual diagnosis of herpes isn't adequate. At this point go and be seen again if you have the lump again.  odds are it isn't herpes going on from your description of it.

you should also get the herpes igg blood testing justsmile recommended too to fully cover your bases.

Did you doc just diagnosis you from a visual ? or was the bump cultured/tested? Did you get a blood test?

You need to make sure you get an IGG type specific test for hsv 1 and hsv 2.
