HSV 1 On Penis?

Have HSV 1, but not sure if it's genital or oral.  Caught a cold yesterday and discovered a single red bump on the center of the penis shaft today.  I did not feel any itching, burning, or anything else before discovering this single bump on my penis.  It doesn't hurt when i touch it or when i urinate.  I do see a white pencil point size spot on the very dead center of this single red bump.  Is this hsv 1?  I do wear fitted jeans and do a lot of walking at work and I also shave my penis area.

It would be rare to have lesions without pain. They usually last 10-14 days total. They progress rapidly from small bump to a liquid filled blister. Then they pop leak the fluid and scab over. Then they heal. Hsv can pressent as small paper cuts on women as well

Thats not hsv. If you had hsv1 of the genitals you would know it. You would have had a very classic and painful first outbreak. Your hsv 1 is oral probably from childhood.

thank you.  Is it possible to have a lesion and not feel pain?  How long do herpes lesions last without treatment?  Just curious.
