4 weeks post exposure should give accurate result for Syphillis. I believe this test was done using blood sample correct ?

I was actually wondering the same exact thing. Is there a way syphillis can make a hsv ii test positive?  like a cross reaction to antibodies for the two. I understand one is viral and one is bacterial.  I have read that cross reaction research has been conducted as far as hsv ii with other herpes family virus (EBV; CMV, Zoster); but has reasearch been done for with other STDs too?

I just feel like i have syphillis symptoms more than herpes symptoms; (out breaks on hands and feet)... itchy ankles.... I never had these symptoms since i have been tested positive for hsv ii.. in August I tested neg for Syphillis at four weeks post exposure... should i get tested again?
