Certainly do not take your life. Herpes is a lot more common than you think and someone close to you/friend/family probably has had the virus before. There are plenty of people whom you can talk to about your depression from this result and it is more than likely, you do not have genital herpes so you should not jump to any harsh conclusions like that as im sure there are people who care about you that would like to have you in their life regardless of if you have herpes or not.

To me it sounds like you need to find a new, more professional and knowledgable doctor and that the result was likely a false positive or you may have had a previous mild outbreak of HSV1  the strain which causes oral cold sores which nearly 1/2 of the population of the US has. You should retest elsewhere with a doctor of your liking.

Relax, you should take to someone or consider going to therapy. It does wonders for some and real people with integrity and character are less judgmental than you think.

Please do not consider taking your own life over this. God bless and feel better

Hi low positive values are indicative of a false positive, retest in 2 months with a different test, was it for hsv1 or hsv2?
