does any one know?

does any one know of the advances in treatment to cure herpes?  i know at the moment there is not cure, but is there any advances in vaccines that keep people from receiving the virus or killing it all together?

any information would be helpful thank you!!!!!

thank you for that little bit of information grace it really helps.  i do know phase 3 is underway from what i have read.  and if you come across any other information i would like for you to forward it to me as a message or as a response here to my posts thank you

40% success rate in phase 2 trials for hsv2.  

It's part of a vaccine that's been in testing for over 10 years now.  We have to wait for the results from this final trial to see if it's ever going to amount to anything.

thank you for the info. i looked into it and saw the thing about the vaccines for woman that are completely herpes free. from what they are saying is that it might work. do u know anything else more about this vaccine?

not many advances at all :(

The herpevac vaccine trials are just about over  - we should be getting answers as to their effectiveness in females within a year or so hopefully.

Some theracines in testing - just phase 1.

Not much else going on at the moment as far as vaccines or cures.  There's not a cure for any virus out there.
