getting pregnant w/herpes

HAS ANYONE SUFFERING FROM HERPES GOTTEN PREGNANT

I have herpes and I'm 37 weeks pregnant. Have you already had an outbreak? I had 2 throughout my pregnancy and as of now I'm taking these pills called axyclovir (I believe that's how u spell it) I take a pill every 4 hrs and the reason I'm taking them is to prevent me from having an outbreak around the time I go into labor because I do NOT want to have a c-section. I want to deliver natural and as long as u don't have an outbreak at that time u can . I don't see why having herpes would prevent you from having kids. do you have hsv1 or hsv2 genitally?

since you had it prior to trying to become pregnant, it really won't be much of an issue for you.

CONGRATS...AND THANKS I WILL AND I TOOK THE SAME MED WHEN I HAD MY FIRST OUT BREAK LAST YEAR (WHICH IS WHEN I FOUND OUT) BUT NO I'VE BEEN OUT BREAK FREE AS OF RIGHT NOW...AND I WANT A NATURAL BIRTH AS WELL AND GOOD LUCK

genital herpes will not keep you from having a family.
