Is this herpes?

this morning I woke up with a soreness on my left labia major. I have PCOS and with it hormonal fluctuations, which have caused simples open sores in the past, which have tested negative got herpes. at first I thought today's pain was one of these sores, but when I checked it it appeared to be a cyst or boil. sure enough, when I popped it, yellow fluid discharged. the part of the labia is red and swollen and still tender to the touch. it does not itch and I don't recall an tinggling. I didn't notice any symptoms
prior to onset of soreness today. I have experienced fatigue lately, but I am getting over a cold (which entire family has,) and also been running back and forth to hospital taking care of ailing father. I know I need to see a doc, but like many on here I am currently out of work and therefore no insurance. thanks for the answers.
oh, last sexual contact was august of last year. while with that partner had herpes blood test with result negative.

sounds more bacterial than herpes.

you can try something as simple as warm compresses a few times a day to it but if it gets worse, by all means be seen and follow up on it.

have you ever had a type specific herpes igg blood test to confirm your status? if you've had symptoms in the past, even with negative lesion cultures, a blood test at some point is the best course of action due to the high false negative issues with the lesion cultures.
