HSV-1 questions

I am a 35-y.o. male and have been married for 8 years to a 35-y.o. female who regularly gets cold sores (about 2-4 times per year for many years). I don't know if she has HSV-1 or HSV-2 but I would guess it's HSV-1.

I regularly kiss and have received unprotected oral sex from my wife many times but I have never had a cold sore or symptoms of genital herpes, although I also have never been tested.

About 5 weeks ago I regrettably had a one-night stand with a 45-y.o. woman. We had vaginal sex for about 10 minutes with a condom, and immediately afterward I showered and washed my groin thoroughly.

The next day this woman told me she has had genital herpes for 25 years. She said she got it in college, and has never had a recurrence or infected anyone else (as far as she knows). She only told me because she thought she was now having an outbreak - a single small, hard white bump on her bikini line post-shaving - although two swab tests failed to find any active virus, and her NP said there was really nothing there to swab from. A type-specific blood test came back positive for HSV-1.

For the last several weeks I have monitored myself closely, and I have not had an outbreak that I can tell. No blisters or rash, no pain urinating, no penile discharge, no swollen lymph nodes, and no fever or flu-like symptoms. I have not been tested for HSV-1 and am debating whether to do so.

From everything I have read and from talking to different medical professionals (including the Doctor forum here) it seems that the likelihood that I would have contracted HSV-1 genital from this encounter is low, given that she was likely not having an outbreak, we used a condom, I showered after, I haven't had an outbreak, and there's some chance I have HSV-1 already since my wife probably has it. Conversely, if I somehow did contract HSV-1 genital it would seem like the chance of passing it to my wife would be low as well, since she likely has HSV-1 oral already, and HSV-1 genital sheds infrequently.

I would just like to know if anyone can assist me with my reasoning, or can offer any comments that will hopefully allow me to put my mind to rest. Thank you.

Thank you. I'm sorry for re-posting essentially the same question twice, but I have been quite stressed over this, and I am very grateful to have this board here to help.
