herpes and lymph nodes

Hi there-  i was diagnosed with HSV1 and HSV2 in May of 2008 after have unprotected sex with my girlfriend at the time.  I have had a few sexual episodes since but majority of time (90%) i've used condoms.

This past memorial day weekend i had a huge bump in the left side of my neck.  This was swelling of a local lymph node.  I had fever and night sweats.   I was put on an aggressive schedule of antibiotics.  The swelling went away in a few days and the fever after 2 days.

I am back to normal now but have some tingling feelings in other lymph node areas - armits, groin, neck.
nothing has swollen. it just intermittently tingles onece in a while.  otherwise my health is perfect.

Could this be an outbreak gone bad?  In the past my outbreaks were just localized to tingling sensation in my penis.  nothing like lymph node swelling.

this doesn't sound at all like your herpes being an issue.

lymph node swelling typically is only an issue with a newly acquired herpes infection.

If you continue to have issues, see your provider for further evaluation.

Lympgh nodes can be many things. it is very difficult to tell with lymph nodes if its due to an outbreak. The bump on our neck is not Herpes related.
