Two words: Chill out. HSV-1 oral herpes is not a big deal, at all. Do you realize that most of the population carries the virus? In many cases, HSV-1 is picked up during childhood years. Start eating, start sleeping, and get tested if it will make you feel better. There is no reason to be feeling this way, especially over something that you don't even know you have.
After reading through a bunch of medhelp forums and information on various websites. It sounds like it is very easy to contract both kinds of herpes. My biggest worry is HSV-1 i have had no symptoms at all, its just i keep reading and hearing you can have no symptoms and still be infected. Im so scared i cant eat or sleep.
Terri i also remember being at the strip club and having the girl kiss me around my face and we kind of rubbed faces but i cant remember if we kissed on the lips. I'm just real anxious i don't know if i go get tested tomorrow that ill have to worry about waiting to get tested again.
I also recall visiting a gentleman's club about a month ago. I did not engage in anything besides slight mutual masturbation. Is this any risk to have contracted any form of herpes?
I don't think you have a medical reason to be tested, no. But if it makes you feel better, you can. This exposure didn't put you at risk, but if you want to know if you have herpes already, you can be tested any time.

In your medical opinion do i have any medical reason to get tested. I feel like my anxiety is making me feel like i have something but dont even know about it.
when should i get tested?
Oral herpes is not usually transmitted via something to drink or sharing utensils, etc. About half the population has HSV 1, the cause of cold sores, so it wouldn't be surprising if you were infected, often children get infected with the cold sore virus. The symptoms that you describe are quite general, and I can't say what might be causing them. If you want to know if you have HSV 1 or HSV 2, an IgG antibody test would be your best bet - do not get IgM testing, just IgG. But from your description, I would say it is unlikely that THIS is oral herpes, though I certainly can't tell for sure
