do you know how your partner was diagnosed? was she tested to know if she has hsv1 or hsv2 genitally?

definitely at this point you need a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your status is.

no, there are no at home herpes tests. you will have to leave your house to get testing done.

Well, if someone who was a virgin before you has been diagnosed with herpes, odds are you gave it to her. Your current symptoms do not sound specific for anything and might just your regular anatomy in the penis. Obviously, it would be ideal for you to be seen by a doctor.

Still, you gotta pursue blood testing for herpes, to learn your status. If you indeed have it, you might reduce transmission risk and avoid transmitting it again to someone else.

You don't need to go to the doctor to get a blood test for herpes. Healthcheckusa and other sites offer herpes 1 and 2 IgG blood test.
