I just found out that I'm hsv2 positive in may I was neg I'm very confused an they put me on valtrex for a year an said that's all I needed I'm very confused about the whole thing I never had symptoms at all !! What to do
Also I was the first person to get this test in there office they never did it before an there where happy that I pushed for further testing and that they was going to brush on HSv as a whole so thank you !! Grace

To Grace I would like to say thank you for your help the last two weeks , for your time an advice over my results my result came in today from the confirmatory done by quest Lab for WB test came back negative !!!! Once again thank you for your help to those who is going through the same thing get the wb test it will make a difference in your life !!
Grace they didn't send it the lady was confused so what to do wait for there testing then post there levels of what they are I'm a mess !!!
yes, quest will send the blood to the proper place for you if the WB was ordered and you took the kit with you for them.

yes it goes to the U of washington lab. It's the only lab in the US that does the herpes WB test. typically it's 2-3 weeks until you receive results.
Grace when you get the wb test from quest do they send it to Washington for testing an how long does it take ? To get the result by the way still no symptoms at all an no outbreaks !!

How long do I wait to take wb test just took test last week wed for hsv2 an that was igg 1.52 an been on the valtrex since an I will stop like you said so last dose was today of 500 mg valtrex !!an wb test will be here in 7 days or I shouldn't worry to much about the result do to low number an thank you for your help , you helped me get through these last days thank you .
Thank you grace the ladies at the office was not help ful at all when I was asking them about numbers they said your postive no need to retest an hung up the phone , thank you will get the wb test
your hsv2 igg is a low positive and will need confirmed before you bother to start any medication. a herpes WB blood test will be the best way to confirm your status. instructions on how to obtain the WB are in our read before posting post on the forum.
