Thanks for having this forum. On september 19, i had an unprotected sexual relation with a girl. My first sexual relation since 2007. A couple days later my lower part of the glans turned to be red. Also, i was peeing a little too much and burned a little, and my urethral orifice turned to be red. I went to the doctor, and he prescripted Urethron and Cipro. After a few days, the infection was gone. Anyway, my lower part of the glans continued to be red. It didnt hurt at all, it just burned a little while i was showering. On October 14, i went to the urologist. At first, he told me it was some type of fungus, then he said it was Herpes.
On October 16, I went to the lab and did the Herpeselect Test. The tests were negative. My IGG result was just .013. The day I took the test, my glans was starting to get some red dots, like 2 or 3 but they dissapeared within just a few hours. On November 4, I went to the urologist again with the results. He told me that the IGM part was necessary for him, and he told me to take the Herpeselect tests once again, when november ends. I also told him that I had red dots on my glans and he just told me that it was some kind of rash. Since October 22 more or less I started to have this dots. Today is November 18, and I still have them. Sometimes they look better sometimes they get worse. More than 2 or 3 weeks ago, I started to have some red dots at my inner thighs too. They are still there. Sometimes they itch a little, but nothing serious.
My questions are...
-If it was a first outbreak, doesn't it supposed to be already gone? I have been already a month with these dots and they still are there. It doesn't hurt or itch, when I touch some of them, my glans feels just a little sensitive nothing more.
-If I took the test like a month after the sexual exposure, and the IGG is negative, what are the probabilities, of it to turn to be positive when I take the test at the end of November?
-What kind of infection could I have? Some kind of fungus? Candidiasis?
P.S. I never had any kind of symptoms of the Herpes Virus. No headaches, no tiredness, no fever, no flu like symptoms, etc. Thanks for your site once again, and sorry for my english (it isn't my first language).
