herpes

I was just diagnosed with herpes type 2 on my chest, from a culture test. This is my second one in 5 months. They were both the size of  dime (the second one much less severe). I am now extremely paranoid that I spread it there from my vagina. Is this possible? I have never notice anything like herpes on my vagina but I do remember having a cut there within the last year. Can herpes travel from your finger to your chest? or would it have to be your first outbreak for this to happen? Can you get herpes in multiple spots on your body if the person who gave it to you touched you in many places? And if my herpes sore is this bad on my chest if I got it on my vagina would it likely be the same severity. I know it's alot of questions but I am trying to figure out if it's on my vagina also. Thank you

The first year is always the worst. I have hsv2 and get outbreaks on my buttocks. Yes a paper like cut can show up on your vagina. I had that maybe twice but over a course of 10 years. I get outbreaks on my buttocks about once a year. As soon as I see a mosquito looking bite on my butt, I pop to valtrax and 2 the next day then it starts to disappear. I only had a full outbreak there the first year. Hsv2 doesn't like to live above the waist line so there is a good chance that after your first year, it may not come back very often.

Hi, highly unlikely you transferred it from one ganglia to another. If you were never diagnosed with genital herpes the this is a moot point. You most likely have it in the upper ganglia only. What type was it diagnoses as?
