how to keep my kids from getting herpes

hi i have asked some things before but i have been really worried i think i might have herpes on my butt and they have puss coming out iv been trying to keep the ones that have puss coming out covered but the sores are multiplying and they itch so bad im so scared that im going to give it to my kids please can you tell me can you spread herpes fromm the butt if the puss is leaking out of the sores and on my pants if someone touches that area where it leaked through my clothes will it spread and what if it gets on my sheets or something and i lay on it after sitting will it spread to other places please help i dont want to spread it to other parts of my body so if i need to do something else to keep that from happening can you please tell me and i dont want my kids so touch where i just sat if it can be spread that way please help

well i got an app with my doc on thurs but its not just one sore it started out as one but its been many they come in like one or two at a time sometimes three they hurt and itch and have puss never seen this b 4 so im real worried thanks for answereing

I'm a wound care nurse and I'm thinking that you more than likely have a pilonidial cyst that is draining. Sounds more likely than a herpes lesion. They don't drain like that. Should go get it checked by your family doc and maybe have to see a surgeon.

You will not transmit herpes thru routine day to day contact.

it will not travel thru clothes.

herpes lesions do not have pus. Pus is purulent discharge and usually is a sign of bacterial infection.
