Yes that is an antiviral, the right medication. The issue is though if it showed up in blood then you've had the infection a while. All that is speculation though, you need the test result.

Ask for a printout that will include the following:
- The manufacturer of the testing kit that was used
- Whether the testing was IgG or IgM.
- The result for each test, that will look like HSV-2 IgG Ab  4.5 H
- The reference ranges, for example 0 - 0.9 negative, 0.9 - 1.1 Equivocal, >1.1 Positive.

Antibiotics do not treat HSV2.

This is very ordinary medical treatment. You must get the blood test results. I am not believing anything you are being advised here at all.

You must obtain the full paperwork of the testing. I would also start seeing another doctor.

And it was 2 tin blisters that stayed a few days than turned like almost raw looking red and than a few days later it loomed like one blister. It was tiny. But than a few days later i got 3 blisters under my tounge but they were like white it almost looked like strep. But m mom said that could b from stressing so bad or reaction to antibiotics they gave me for hsv2.

The main issue here is the doctor.

Herpetic whitlow is very rare and can only be diagnosed with a swab. I'm thinking you didn't have a swab, right?

If you do have herpetic whitlow then it is not that contagious at all. The sores are contagious if they are present simply keep them covered.

I single blister on your genitals may be any number of things. Let me guess, no swab or blood test?

I would be seeking much more confirmation of a herpes diagnosis. This doctor seems way, way too prone to diagnosing herpes!
