I'm sorry but this has nothing to do with herpes.
Again, thanks for the reply Fleetwood. I been experiencing very bad feelings of malaise. The burning comes and goes, now I have small red bumps on my penis head. Also, minor burning sensation on my rectum. I've been to 7 doctor visits and to no avail. Definitely scary, and all is becoming so depressing
Some aches and pains down the legs and the sacrum area may accompany an outbreak, rarely proceeding a first outbreak but only by a day or two if so.
Plus as you are HSV1+ then you are unlikely to experience symptoms beyond the sores in any event. Your antibodies are reasonably effective against HSV2.
When you mention genital focus anxiety, what exactly do you mean?
It is pain I have endured prior to me finding out of her testing hsv2+. I get inner thigh pain, buttocks burn and pain, muscles aches all throughout. I've read it could be related to possibly a pending first outbreak. I really appreciate your time.
Thank you
Your testing is conclusive, you do not have HSV2. It is not the cause of your genital symptoms and herpes doesn't really cause the symptoms you describe at all.
This does sound like genital focused anxiety though. You've been freaking out since you learned of this partner's status I will warrant. Try to relax and I feel all will get better for you.
Thnx for the reply. Unfortunately I been feeling really weak, body aches and buttocks burn. I found out a girl I had been seeing has hsv2. My penis has been very sore for about 3 months, and it all feels connected. I've tested negative for hsv2 since, but I am still very concerned as I feel lots of irritation on my genital area.
You most probably have an oral HSV1 infection. There is no need to be scared of anything associated with an outbreak. They happen, a sore comes and it goes. You most likely will only get a small sore if you do breakout. What you describe inside the mouth does not sound like herpes. A lip outbreak feels like it is on the surface of the lip and not causing a swelling within.
There is no reason to suspect you have genital herpes at all. Hence any symptoms here you can confidently ascribe to something other than herpes.
