herpes in throat?
I gave a long time friend oral sex about 7 days ago. About a day later i started having throat pains. 2 days afterwards, i had white spots show up in my left tonsil. They got worse the next day but there's been no activity with that tonsil then. Just yesterday I noticed a couple white spots in my right tonsil which worsened today. I've seen a nurse practicioner and a clinical doctor and both said I tested negative for strep. The doc said that I have some form of tonsillitis that's viral but I'd need to have blood work to diagnose the problem. She thinks it's mono but after some reading I've done, I'm starting to think it's herpes pharyngitis. Can someone give me an opinion?
but what bug could it be?! im rattling my brains to find out what this could be! also my mouth is so dry!
Herpes doesn't show up in a day. You obviously caught a bug maybe from this sex partner or something else.
